Rules
NO SPINNING.
Rule 13 All Executive Committee members to be bailiffs. Club bailiffs to be named by the Committee. The club bailiffs have the right to examine the creel, fishing bag or box of any angler
Rule 14 Access to be by public footpath only or by the gate on Bolton Road (opposite Farfield Hall ie Field No 337 as on the Title Deeds of Agreement with Addingham Parish Council) together with other access points as indicated on the Club map.
Rule 15 Fishing is catch and release. All fish to be returned.
Rule 16 Landing nets to be as per Environment Agency rules.
All anglers must be holders of a current Environment Agency rod licence.
No keep nets allowed.
No cereal ground bait to be used.
Only barbless or debarbed hooks are allowed.
Fishing seasons are as specified by the Environment Agency.
Rule 17 One rod only to be fished at any one time. Rods must be attended at all times.
Rule 19 Night fishing to be permitted for members and their guests only. Day ticket holders to stop fishing no later than one hour after sunset.
Rule 26 No member, guest or day ticket holder may charge for instruction on AAA waters without written permission from the Committee, which if granted, must be shown on request.
Exception: A member may engage the services of a Fishing Instructor with the permission of the Secretary.
Wilful damage to the banks and hedges, fences etc, leaving of litter of any sort, or any action that will bring disgrace to the club will be dealt with severely. No fires, stoves, primus stoves of any type, radios or dogs are allowed. No loose nylon or hooks to be left.
It must be stressed that loose pieces of nylon and loose hooks are killers of our wildlife which it is our duty to protect.
Any day ticket holder reported to the Committee for an angling offence or other matter detrimental to the interests of the club may be banned from club waters by a majority vote at the Committee meeting.
The Committee decision is final with no right to appeal.

Parking
Parking for visitors is in the layby opposite the entrance to Farfield Hall on the B6160 between Addingham and Bolton Abbey.

Please don’t leave your Day Ticket in your windscreen as the Baillif might need to see it. Instead, you should leave a piece of paper/card with either “A” or “AAA” on it.
Access to the river is over the fence to the left of the five bar gate.
Walk straight down the field to Remembrance Pool and the AAA sign in a large tree on the riverbank. Once there fishing is available on either bank, up or down stream until you reach the limit signs. There is livestock on the fields on either bank so please keep to the riverside footpaths.
Alternative parking is also available on Lowfield Lane. This is the lane on the east side of the river and is very narrow. Travelling south from the A59, pass through Beamsley. The river is visible at the bottom of the valley. Just after an area of woodland on the right there is a large lay by.

Walk back along the road to the end of the wood.
Hop over the fence and walk down the steep hillside to the river.
Parking is also possible in Addingham on Bark Lane. From here you can walk on the public footpath upstream past the weir and caravan park to reach the lower limit of our fishing on the right hand bank.
